Greater overall length (86.5″ vs 80″) for more band loading capacity allows for heavier lifts and maximum kinetic energy. Maximum recommended weight capacity: 300 lbs.

Spezifikationen
  • Length: 86.5″ (Earthquake 80")
  • Weight: 8.75 lbs. (Earthquake 6.3 lbs.)
  • Bar Diameter: 1-1/2″
  • Loading Sleeve: 5″ diameter – 16″ length for more band loading capacity (Earthquake 3" diameter, 13" sleeve)
  • Patented Design: Protected by US Patent No. 8,506,460

Designed for powerlifters, bodybuilders and high-performance athletes who rely on the strength building talents of the Earthquake bar and E-Maxx bar.

Instead of the traditional safety slots, it has two-inch grooves cut into its wooden ends to channel and grip the bands as the Bar bends radically under super-heavy weight.

The difference between Earthquake and E-Maxx? A greater overall length (86.5″ vs 80″) for more band loading capacity, which allows for heavier lifts and maximum kinetic energy.

The E-Maxx Bar can be custom-setup in a multitude of ways with both bands and weights. Two-inch grooves cut into the wood are designed to channel and grip the bands even as the bar bends radically under super-heavy weight. High-tech polymer bumpers have been added to each end of the bar to protect it when racking and to provide better control.

No matter how it’s used, the bar trains the user to develop and hone perfect form.

WHO CREATED BANDBELL®️ BARBELLS AND WHY?

Jim Seitzer; a national-level bodybuilder and powerlifter, also one of the founding members of Westside Barbell.

As a 35-year veteran of bodybuilding and powerlifting, Jim was no stranger to injury. The idea for the Bandbell®️ Barbell came when Jim was working through a shoulder injury.

Being the motivated athlete he was, Jim started experimenting with exercises that would allow him to keep training despite the injury.

He began benching with a 7ft oak broomstick, adding resistance bands and 25-lb kettlebells, hung from either end. This set-up allowed him to perform the bench press without pain.

What started out in 2006 as a collaborative effort between Lou and Jim Seitzer has evolved through five prototypes to become the incredibly strong, kinetic-energy dynamo that it is today. This hand-made Bar can routinely handle weights in excess of 200 lbs every day - all day long.

Easy to load, it’s perfect for single band rehab setups all the way up to complex kinetic variations using multiple bands with kettlebells, weights, chains and the new BandBell®️ Anchor Loaders™ and Strap-n-Hooks™.

With endless variations to choose from, nervous system accommodation is a thing of the past.
